Premiere Transportation Celebrates 36 Years and Facility Expansion

Premiere Transportation celebrated a major milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 21, 2026, marking both its 36th anniversary and the expansion of its office and garage facility at 452 North Pearl Street in Albany. Held in the city’s Warehouse District, the event highlighted the company’s continued growth and long-standing commitment to serving the Capital Region. 

The ceremony was emceed by Shawn Daley, Sr. Director of Membership Development for the Capital Region Chamber, who welcomed, elected officials, and community partners and Chamber Ambassadors Among the speakers, Deputy County Executive Michael McLaughlin commended Premiere’s investment in Albany, noting the thoughtful design of the new space, including the preserved “old Albany Tile” floors that pay tribute to the building’s history. 

Jill Delaney, CEO and President of Discover Albany, spoke to Premiere’s vital role in the region’s tourism and hospitality industry, crediting the company with setting a high standard for transportation services. She shared a compelling example of a returning performance group that relies exclusively on Premiere’s dependability for their time-sensitive events. 

President and Owner David Brown reflected on his journey from entry-level roles to building a respected regional business. He emphasized that the new facility represents a commitment to safe mobility and future growth. Brown recognized key partners, including Community Bank, Bonacquisti Brothers Construction, and McLaren Engineering, and offered special acknowledgements to his internal team, recognizing the drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, office staff, and senior leadership as the true reason for the company’s success. On a personal note, he thanked his wife, Danielle Brown, the company’s Director of Business Development, calling her his “rock” during the high-pressure renovation.  

With support from local officials including Nesta Littlejohn and Councilmember Art Lumpkin, the ceremony concluded with a ribbon cutting, symbolizing an exciting new chapter for Premiere Transportation and its continued service to the community.
