May 13, 2026Inauguration of Trade-Based Capacity Building for TVET Trainers in Agriculture Sector
The inauguration ceremony for the Trade-Based Capacity Building of TVET Trainers in the Agriculture Sector under the GIZ TVET Sector Support Program was successfully held at Hazara University, Mansehra.
The first day “Crop Protection Technician Level-3” training commenced with 25 trainees in the first batch.
This program is part of the broader assignment on Trade-Based Capacity Building of TVET Trainers in the Agribusiness Sector, implemented by Sara Learning Global, USA, in partnership with Human Development Nepal Consulting Group Pvt. Ltd., and co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The initiative aims for upscaling and rescaling of 400 TVET teachers in green and market-relevant agribusiness skills, focusing on practical trade-based training in Punjab, KPK, and Baluchistan.
The formal opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Inamullah (Dean, Faculty of Agriculture Sciences), Dr. Sajid (Head, Agriculture Department), distinguished participants, and key representatives from partner organizations, including Dr. Akbar Abbas Bangash (COO, SLG), Dr. Qaiser Server Khan (GIZ), and Dr. Saad Baloch (National Project Coordinator).
The opening day featured the introduction of LMS to integrate the essence of digitilization and blended learning by conducting pre-assessment activities, introduction to NVQF, CBT&A, and introduction of crop protection followed by the module assessment.
