CAPTeens Lead Community Education Forum: Real Talk on Immigration Facts vs Myth

CAPTAIN Community Human Services (CHS) CAPTeens program is proud to present “Real Talk: Immigration Facts Versus Myth”, a community education forum set to take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The event is scheduled for 6:00pm and will be held at the Clifton Park Halfmoon Public Library (475 Moe Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065) in Program Rooms A-D. The forum will feature a presentation and conversation led by the CAPTeens as well as a panel of local officials and experts.

In collaboration with the Shenendehowa Central School District, the CAPTAIN CHS CAPTeen program epitomizes youth-driven youth development. This initiative empowers local teens to engage in meaningful community service, philanthropy, and outreach. High school freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are invited to participate and serve as ambassadors for CAPTAIN CHS. CAPTeens commit to 30 hours of community service, contribute to their community through events and engagement, cultivate invaluable skills and experiences, and enrich their personal and academic journey.
