The Capital Region Workforce Development Board has named Thomas “Lee” Pendleton as the new Assistant Director for Regional Workforce System Operations and Performance Management.
“I’m proud to be joining this amazing team,” said Pendleton. “The Capital Region Workforce Development Board has a history of doing great work for the community, and they are clearly poised to take public service to the next level. I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”
Pendleton brings an extensive background in workforce development, program management, and strategic operations leadership to the Capital Region workforce system. Coming from Workforce Solutions Capital Area, the workforce board of Austin, TX, Lee is proficient in workforce systems optimization, ensuring compliance with WIOA regulations and aligning programs with evolving labor market needs.
