The Bank of Greene County’s Charitable Foundation is now accepting grant requests from eligible organizations through January 15, 2026.  The Foundation supports qualifying non-profit organizations that foster education, health and wellness, social and civic services, culture and the arts, and affordable housing.

Foundation and Bank President & CEO, Donald Gibson, stated: “We are pleased to announce this year’s grant funding of $534,000.  This money reflects our continued commitment to strengthening the communities we serve, and will help local organizations expand their impact and support those who need it most.  With the addition of this year’s funding of $534,000, our Charitable Foundation has now awarded more than $4 million in grants since its inception in 1998.  This significant milestone reflects our sustained dedication to the communities we serve, and meaningful, long-term impact.  We look forward to our continued partnership with the countless local non-profit organizations who are working to improve our communities and the quality of life in the Greater Hudson Valley and Capital Region.”

Approved grant applicants can expect to receive their grant money after May 1, 2026.

Interested organizations can obtain more information on the grant application process from the Bank’s website, www.tbogc.com/about/giving.  Completed applications can be mailed to the Bank of Greene County, Attn: Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 470, Catskill, NY 12414 or dropped off at any branch location.
