Member Spotlight: Women Igniting Change®

Robbin Jorgensen, Founder and CEO of Women Igniting Change®, started her business fourteen years ago after spending over two decades in the corporate world. Her vision was to move both business and humanity forward by unleashing the untapped potential and contributions of women worldwide. Over the years, the mission of Women Igniting Change® has only deepened, empowering women at every level—within organizations through leadership programs and as independent changemakers—so they can step into their power and drive meaningful change.

Women Igniting Change® is a global leadership development firm dedicated to advancing women leaders and driving social change. The company equips women with the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to step into leadership roles—whether in corporate settings, structured leadership programs, or independent social change initiatives. Their work is centered around four key focus areas: Women’s Leadership Strategy & Programming, where they design leadership development initiatives that transform women leaders into strategic business partners; Executive Coaching, which builds sustainable change in women leaders and organizations; Speaking engagements that inspire individuals to recognize their own innate power and become agents of change; and Women and Social Impact, through programs like the Impact Accelerators, which equip corporate leaders with the skills to create meaningful impact in their communities while applying their expertise back to their roles. Their newest B2C program, The Changemaker Initiative, will empower professional women to turn their social change ideas into action. Regardless of the path, their mission remains the same: to unleash the power of women as drivers of change both inside and outside of their organizations.

Looking to the future, Women Igniting Change® is expanding its leadership programs, partnering with more organizations to cultivate strong, high-performing women leaders who lead with conviction and impact. Additionally, they are launching a new B2C initiative for professional women who want to create impact in their communities but don’t know where to start, helping them ignite their leadership and step into action. Whether through corporate programs or grassroots efforts, the goal is to equip women with the leadership tools needed to drive real, measurable change.

One of the most interesting aspects of Women Igniting Change® is that social change is not just a part of their work—it is the foundation of everything they do. When companies invest in their programs, they are not just developing their leaders; they are driving meaningful change for women and girls worldwide. Thanks to incredible corporate partnerships, the organization has created over 36,000 tangible impacts that have transformed lives, contributing to a more equitable world. Every impact is directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring a lasting, global ripple effect.

An especially meaningful part of their journey has been working with women leaders in 31 countries across six continents. However, their deep connection to Rwanda has been particularly transformative. The extraordinary women of Rwanda, who have rebuilt their country and communities after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, have taught powerful lessons in resilience, leadership, and hope. This experience has profoundly shaped Robbin as a leader and as a person.

What sets Women Igniting Change® apart from competitors is their commitment to moving both business and humanity forward. Their approach ensures that leadership growth is paired with real-world contributions that transform the lives of women and girls around the world.

For Robbin, being a Chamber member means being part of an incredible community that values contribution, leadership, and service, offering opportunities to collaborate with like-minded professionals, share insights, and build connections that help businesses and communities thrive. Specifically, the company has benefited from resources such as the Women’s Business Council (WBC) events, which align with their mission to equip and empower women as leaders and changemakers. They have also leveraged networking events, leadership forums, and business collaborations that connect them with companies and leaders dedicated to both business success and social good.

For Robbin, the Capital Region has always been home—even during the 11 years she lived in Atlanta. Returning three years ago reinforced what makes the area so special: its vibrant culture, endless opportunities, and strong sense of community. She appreciates the region’s deep commitment to supporting local businesses, fostering leadership, and driving meaningful change—values that align perfectly with the mission of Women Igniting Change®.

Among the many testimonials Women Igniting Change® has received, one in particular stands out from a senior leader who shared, “This program didn’t just change how I lead at work—it changed how I see myself and the impact I can have in the world. I finally feel aligned with my purpose.” This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the organization’s mission. The world doesn’t just need more women in leadership—it needs more women leading with impact. That is exactly what Women Igniting Change® is here to do.
