Goodbee Controls 5 Year Anniversary Ribbon Cutting

Andre Goodbee, owner of Goodbee Controls, cut the ceremonial ribbon for his 5th anniversary celebration as well as his certification with the IBEW union, joined by Colonie Deputy Supervisor Rick Field, Albany Business Review Publisher Walter Thorne, and staff and volunteer Ambassadors of the Capital Region Chamber.

Andre wants to increase the number of African-American electrical workers in the Capital Region from the current 7 percent to 10 percent, to bring a lot of new talent to a much-needed trade in our region.  A certified MBE business for 5 years and recently accredited with the IBEW union, Goodbee Controls offers residential applications, such as installing outlets, troubleshooting & repair, light installation, automatic transfer switches, light design, upgrading panels, grounding systems, low voltage systems, camera systems, smart devices, and green energy consultation. Under Andre’s spirited leadership, Goodbee Controls not only meets customers’ needs but helps improve our region, increasing opportunities for skilled workers and those looking to learn the trades.

All 2025 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by Community Bank, N.A.
