Bank of Greene County – January Promotions

Donald Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announced employee promotions across the Bank.  Gibson stated: “I am excited to share that as a result of the Bank’s ongoing growth and success, we have promoted several dedicated employees to roles of greater responsibility across multiple departments.  It is especially rewarding to see the progress our employees are making to advance their careers at the Bank.”

Cheryl Antalek has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Management & Asset Recovery.  Cheryl has been with the Bank for over 2 years, and has an Associate’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Schenectady County Community College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Sage College of Albany.

Sheila Leccese has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Lending Compliance & Loan Servicing Officer.  Sheila has been with the Bank for 3 years in the Lending Department, and enjoys traveling with her daughter and friends, and has a goal to visit all 50 states.

Jacklyn J. Stiffler has been promoted to Consumer and Residential Lending Officer.  Jacklyn has been with the Bank for 6 years in the Lending Department, and has over 40 years of banking experience.  She is a graduate of Ichabod Crane Central School District.

Marie Haldane has been promoted to Senior Accountant.  Marie has been with the Bank for 8 years, and has held positions of increased responsibility in the Finance Department.  She is a graduate of Taconic Hills High School, has an Associate’s degree from Columbia-Greene Community College, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from Siena College.  In her free time, Marie enjoys spending time with her two daughters.

Winta Wendover has been promoted to Senior Mortgage Closing Associate & HDMA Coordinator.  Winta has been with the Bank for 14 years and has held positions of increased responsibility throughout the Bank.  She was born and raised in Germantown and graduated from Germantown Central School.  Winta’s favorite animal is a goat.

James Flood has been promoted to Senior Municipal Banking Associate.  James has been with the Bank for 2 years in the Municipal Banking Department.  He is a graduate of Red Hook High School, and has a Bachelor’s in Finance from Siena College.  James played Division 1 baseball while at Siena College, and was a pitcher for their team.

Amy Xedis has been promoted to Commercial Portfolio Manager.  Amy has been with the Bank for 8 years and has held positions of increased responsibility throughout the Bank.  She also completed the Bank’s Management Training Program.  Amy is a graduate of Catskill High School, has an Associate’s degree from Columbia-Greene Community College, a Bachelor’s in Business and a Master’s in Business Administration from the College of Saint Rose, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Sacred Heart University.  In her free time, Amy enjoys cooking and attending Pilates classes.

Derek Roberts has been promoted to Commercial Portfolio Manager.  Derek has been with the Bank for 5 years and has held positions of increased responsibility in the Credit Department.  Derek is a graduate of Cairo-Durham High School, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.  In his free time, Derek enjoys hiking with his dog, Marcy, and became an Adirondack 46er during the summer of 2024.

Alex Zhang has been promoted to Associate Credit Analyst.  Alex has been with the Bank for 2 years working in the Credit Department.  He is a graduate of Kingston High School, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration from Iona University.  When he’s not working, Alex enjoys trying spicy food.

Kelsey Koonz has been promoted to BSA & Fraud Analyst.  Kelsey has been with the Bank for over 10 years and has held positions of increased responsibility throughout the Bank.  Kelsey was homeschooled, and has an Associate’s degree from Columbia-Greene Community College and a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Rose.  Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, baking and celebrating the Holiday Season.

Mary Kim Glausen has been promoted to Mortgage Closing Associate.  Mary Kim has been with the Bank for 2 years and has held positions in various departments.  Mary Kim graduated from Germantown Central School, and has an Associate’s degree from Dutchess County Community College and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from SUNY New Paltz.  Mary Kim loves to bake goodies for her family and coworkers.

Diana Castro has been promoted to Financial Service Representative II.  Diana has been with the Bank for about a year, is a graduate of Stissing Mountain Senior High School, and has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Marist College.  Diana is from a big family, and is the second of seventeen grandchildren on her father’s side.

Laura Kastner has been promoted to Financial Service Representative II.  Laura has been with the Bank for 15 years and has held positions of increased responsibility in the Branch network.  Laura is a graduate of Cairo-Durham High School, and has an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia-Greene Community College.  Laura is a coffee lover, and enjoys a Dunkin iced coffee every morning before work.

Kira Rabiner has been promoted to Financial Service Representative II.  Kira has been with the Bank for 6 years, is a graduate from Spring Valley High School, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from SUNY Oswego.  Kira’s parents owned a French restaurant right next to the Woodstock branch where she now works.

Korinna Ranyak has been promoted to Financial Service Representative II.  Korinna has been with the Bank for 2 years, is a graduate from Saugerties High School, and has an Associate’s degree in Math and Science from Ulster County Community College.  Korinna is a recent graduate of the Ulster County Chamber’s Leadership Development Institute, and is on the Ulster County Chamber Board.  Korinna is an avid crocheter.

Cynthia DeSario has been promoted to Financial Service Representative II.  Cynthia has been with the Bank for 1 year.  She is a graduate of Washington Irving High School in New York City, and studied Early Childhood Education at Borough of Manhattan Community College.  Cynthia enjoys baking with her two children.
