CTDI Plans Expansion at Rotterdam Corporate Park in Schenectady County

The Galesi Group announced that Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI) plans to lease a 200,000 square foot building at the Rotterdam Corporate Park. The project received approval from the Rotterdam Planning Commission last night.

CTDI is a global leader in engineering, repair, and logistics solutions for the communications industry. Customers of CTDI include major telecommunication carriers, cable service providers, and OEMs worldwide. The company plans to create approximately 200 jobs at the new facility, its fourth location in Schenectady County. CTDI occupies three other buildings, totaling over 350,000 square feet, owned by the Galesi Group at the Glenville Business and Technology Park.

David Buicko, CEO of the Galesi Group said, “We are pleased to receive approval from the Planning Board for this project which brings a leading global technology company to the Rotterdam Corporate Park. We thank CTDI for selecting Schenectady County after an extensive search and for creating approximately 200 jobs in the process. We also thank Metroplex Chair Ray Gillen, Peter Struzzi from Pyramid Brokerage, Rotterdam Town Supervisor Mollie Collins, Town Board Member Teri Gallucci, and Town Planner Peter Comenzo, for their assistance as we showed Building 17 to CTDI.”

CTDI considered buildings in three states before selecting Building 17 at the Rotterdam Corporate Park. Located near the intersection of I-88, I-90 and Route 7, the Rotterdam Corporate Park features more than four million square feet of space, making it one of the largest business parks in Upstate New York.
