August 16, 202419 Whiteman Osterman & Hanna Attorneys Named to Best Lawyers Lists for 2025
Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna (WOH) is proud to have 19 lawyers recognized in the 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America. The firm also has one partner awarded the Best Lawyer® 2025 Elder Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Albany, and one senior counsel awarded the Best Lawyer® 2025 Environmental Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Albany. Amy S. O’Connor, was named Best Lawyers® Trusts and Estates “Lawyer of the Year” in Albany. O’Connor is a senior counsel in WOH’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group. She concentrates her practice on elder law, estate planning, and trust and estate administration encompassing all aspects of trusts and estates law and elder law, including probate and administration of estates and trusts, established of revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, health care proxies, living wills, and powers of attorney.
Daniel A. Ruzow was named Best Lawyers® Environmental “Lawyer of the Year” in Albany. Ruzow is a partner and general counsel at WOH and a member of the firm’s Environmental, Government Relations, Municipal and Real Estate Development, and Zoning and Land Use Practice Groups. He concentrates his practice on environmental impact assessment, environmental and land use permitting and compliance and related litigation. Ruzow has been a partner at WOH since 1986 and was managing partner from 1993 to 2004.
