DSIC Announces Summer Send-Off Concert at Gateway Plaza

The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) will host a free concert at Gateway Plaza to celebrate the end of the summer season on Friday, September 6 from 5-9 p.m. featuring The Refrigerators. Sydney Worthley will open the festivities at 5 p.m.

Food trucks will be on site for purchase. Attendants are encouraged to bring their own seating.

DSIC will host this Summer Send-Off concert to highlight local musical entertainment, courtesy of an awarded Arts Thrive Grow Regrants program grant received from The Arts Center of the Capital Region. Arts Thrive and Grow has been funded by New York State, Kathy Hochul, Governor. We thank Senate Majority Leader Andrea, Stewart Cousins for her extraordinary commitment and leadership, and our elected officials who represent our grantmaking region: Senators Jake Ashby and Neil D. Breslin; Assemblymembers Scott H. Bendett, Patricia Fahy, John T. McDonald III, Angelo Santabarbara, Phil Steck and Mary Beth Walsh.

Additional sponsors include Schenectady County and Rivers Casino and Resort.

This is a rain or shine event. More event details will be announced on the corresponding event page, linked here.
