August 7, 2024Two Towns One Book Announces our Contenders for 2025 Book of the Year!
The Friends of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library through its Two Towns-One Book Program is pleased to announce that voting to select the book for its 2025 annual community read is now open through September 8, 2024. Our goal is to bring people in our community together through the reading and discussion of a shared book.
Community members are encouraged to review the write up on each of the five contenders, found at https://friendsofcphlibrary.org/two-towns-one-book/ and vote for your choice of the 2025 book, found at https://friendsofcphlibrary.org/vote-for-your-contender/.
All five contenders were nominated by the community. The contenders are: The Personal Librarian (Marie Benedict / Victoria Christopher Murray), West with Giraffes (Lynda Rutledge), Lady Tan’s Circle of Women (Lisa See), Good Night, Irene (Luis Alberto Urrea) and Black Cake (Charmaine Wilkerson). The winning book will be announced on Thursday September 12, 2024. Community activities pertaining to the chosen book will be announced in December 2024
