Anthony Marino Named VP at Siena College

Anthony Marino has been named vice president for development and alumni engagement at Siena College.

His appointment is effective August 19.

Marino comes to Siena from the American Cancer Society, where he has served in various leadership capacities in the organization’s Northeast Region for the last 18 years, most recently as its executive vice president.

“As a philanthropy executive, Anthony Marino excels in relationship management and the development of strategic plans and alliances to achieve fundraising and engagement goals,” said Siena President Chuck Seifert, Ph.D. “As a dedicated Siena alumnus and supporter, he knows well the mission and traditions of the College and has a deep passion for translating that sense of dedication into building and fostering effective and cohesive teams.”

Marino, who earned his B.S. in marketing/management from Siena, has served as the executive vice president of the Northeast Region of the American Cancer Society since 2020, where he manages senior level staff to drive income development and mission initiatives across 15 states and Washington, D.C. He has also served in other key leadership roles in the organization.

“It is such an honor to be joining the team at Siena College,” he said. “Having the chance to work with President Seifert, the faculty and staff, and our alumni family is such an incredible opportunity. My four years as a student at Siena were a very special time for me, and I look forward to helping ensure that future generations can experience and embrace the Siena tradition.”
