Ted’s Fish Fry 75th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting

The Capital Region Chamber had the honor of celebrating the 75th anniversary of Ted’s Fish Fry, a beloved community staple since the first location opened in Watervliet. Known for its delicious fried fish, chowder, fries, and more, Ted’s has been a favorite spot for residents to enjoy a hearty meal. Congratulations to Ted’s Fish Fry on this remarkable milestone!

To celebrate this anniversary, Ted’s is launched a “Tour de Ted’s” with 75-cent Fish Fry promotions at various locations totaling over 20,000 fish fries for the week, over 8,000 lbs of fish in total and a grand total of 876 tickets (orders) per location!

The “Tour de Ted’s” is a seven-day celebration of this third-generation family-owned business, which has three locations in Albany County, two in Troy, one in Halfmoon, a food truck, and soon, another location in Ballston Spa.

In attendance for the special day was Assemblyman John McDonald, Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy, Watervliet City Manager Joe LaCivita, and Colonie Town Supervisor Peter Crummey for their support this morning. Capital Region Chamber volunteer Ambassador Ed Massa also assisted Senior Vice President, Community Advancement, Pete Bardius in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

All 2024 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by Community Bank, N.A.
