The Capital Region Chamber joined in the ribbon cutting celebration of Pearce Renewables, the largest independent service provider of renewable energy services in the country. They provide innovative and industry-leading service solutions for critical infrastructure in the renewable energy and telecom industry. They are expanding into the Capital Region and Schenectady specifically in order to interact with other major providers of wind and other renewable energy products. The Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority was instrumental in arranging support to bring Pearce Renewables to the city. Their choice of Downtown Schenectady allows them to be in close proximity to other major wind and renewable energy providers in the region, including GE Vernova here in Schenectady.
President and CEO Mark Egan celebrated the ribbon-cutting along with Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy, Assemblyman Santabarbara, Senator Jim Tedisco, and friends.
