May 22, 2024Bank of Greene County Supporting Capital Region Businesses with $10 Million Low-Interest Loan Pledge
The Bank of Greene County announced it has pledged up to $10 million in low-interest loans to support owner-occupied businesses in the Capital Region. This pledge is part of the Bank’s expansion into the Capital Region with the opening of its new Capital Region Banking Center located at 3 Winners Circle.
“I’m pleased to announce that as part of our new Capital Region Banking Center, we have pledged $10 million in low-interest loans to help support businesses in the Capital Region,” said Don Gibson, President and CEO of the Bank. “We’ve run similar programs with great success, including last year when we opened our East Greenbush Branch and supported business investment in Rensselaer County.”
John Antalek, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer also stated, “Our new Banking Center is dedicated to serving the Capital Region, and this low-interest loan program is specifically designed for owner occupied-properties. Our team of dedicated Capital Region lenders look forward to meeting local business owners and helping them achieve their short and long-term business goals.”
