Sage Students Perform at Dorset Theatre Festival

STINKY_CHEESE_MANTROY, NY – Students from the Theatre Institute at Sage will perform “The Stinky Cheese Man” this weekend at the Dorset Theatre Festival in Dorset, Vermont.

The Dorset Theatre Festival kicked off its 2015 summer season last weekend with a staged adaptation of the children’s book “The Stinky Cheese Man” by Jon Scieszka. This is the first time Sage students have performed at the Vermont festival.

“The Stinky Cheese Man” uses music and humor to turn the standard idea of “happily ever after” on its head. The stories include a giant, an Ugly Duckling, a princess who kisses an actual frog, and a squabble between Cinderella and Rumpelstiltskin. Sage students will perform additional shows on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11a.m. and 3 p.m.

Tickets are available on the Dorset Theatre Festival website, dorsettheatrefestival.org/special-events/ or by calling the box office at (802) 867-2223.
