Saratoga Casino Hotel celebrated ‘Giving Tuesday’ by donating $120,000 to twelve Capital Region non-profit organizations during their Make A Difference holiday luncheon in Vapor yesterday.
“It’s our favorite day of the year,” said Skip Carlson, Vice President of External Affairs at Saratoga Casino Hotel. “It’s an honor to give back to these wonderful organizations in this community. We’ve been hosting this event for 19 years now, and it’s so heartwarming to hear each year how these organizations are truly making a difference in the lives of so many.”
Kari Cushing, Executive Director of Franklin Community Center, was on hand to accept the $10,000 donation for her organization, “I am sincerely grateful for the acknowledgment of Franklin Community Center’s efforts and its inclusion in the Make A Difference event. The backing of businesses such as Saratoga Casino Hotel plays a crucial role in ensuring our success by providing the necessary resources to continue our work. This support extends beyond financial contributions, encompassing various forms of assistance. Whether it’s volunteer work, board membership, or event support, we can always rely on Saratoga Casino Hotel. Thank you for allowing us to participate in this special event and for your ongoing contributions to making Saratoga a truly wonderful and special community.”

- Rebuilding Together Saratoga County
Over the last 19 years, Saratoga Casino Hotel has donated over $3.3 million to different charitable groups in the Capital Region. Their Make a Difference initiative that started in 2004 has since been their main charitable event to honor and provide funding to local non-profit organizations.
