July 20, 2023Mohawk Valley Art Shoppe Ribbon Cutting
Owner Devery Gara of Mohawk Valley Art Shoppe (101 State St, Schenectady), her husband and family were joined by a huge group of onlookers, family members, friends and supporters to cut the ribbon on their new store. Speakers included the author, Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation President Jim Salengo, Schenectady City Council President Marion Porterfield, and state Senator Jim Tedisco. This store serves the Artist community of the region and some of the stuff on the shelves you have to go to NYC to find elsewhere! Staff members of both DSIC and the Chamber participated and helped to make it extra special for Devery and her family.
