July 20, 2023Chick-fil-A Ribbon Cutting
Chick-fil-A personnel flew in from all over the country to assist local store owners Scott Payne (Clifton Park) and Will Potts (North Greenbush) and their families in getting their employees up to speed, making sure the restaurants met company standards for efficiency and cleanliness, and a whole host of other tasks including facilitating the ribbon cuttings along with the Capital Region Chamber and Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce. It was a unique spectacle, an exciting celebration, leading to anticipation for what was to come as both restaurants opened and got up to speed. Surely there will be kinks to work out, but having these new Chick-fil-A locations in our midst is going to make a lot of people very happy for years to come. In Clifton Park, Mr. Payne comes to us after 23 years in the Marine Corps and he moved from a store in Virginia to make our community his home. Mr. Potts similarly managed a store in western NY and now is in the Capital Region with a tremendous opportunity.
