Mr. John Ahearn, III has been promoted to partner at Couch White, LLP. A graduate of The College of Saint Rose and Albany Law School Union University, John appears before various municipal land use development boards regarding the land use entitlement process. John advises clients on various aspects of real estate development and provides advice regarding New York’s State Environmental Quality Review Act and other state and local laws regarding development. John also is experienced in providing due diligence of renewable energy projects, including wind, battery energy storage, and solar for complex transaction.
Mr. Ahearn, admitted since 2017, has been an associate at Couch White since 2021. John’s background in municipal representation provides a unique insight and experience into the land use development process which contributes to growing the firm’s profile in the Environmental and Renewable Energy Transactions practice areas.
