Academy of Holy Names Annual Traveling Art Show Hits the Streets

Dr. Martin Kilbridge, President of Academy of The Holy Names, announced today the successful launch of its annual Traveling Art Show. Under the direction of Art Teacher, Dana Sela, and Director of Enrollment Management, Wendy Diefendorf, the show includes exhibits of student art and showings at a variety of local organizations and businesses.

“This has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to present their work to a larger audience and give our neighbors a better sense of the skill and talent being fostered here at Holy Names,” Kilbridge said. “We are thrilled for them and for our neighbors who get to appreciate our students’ artistry.”

Three travelling collections have been exhibited at various venues. No Mud, No Lotus featuring botanical prints was displayed at Danker Florist in Albany. African Americans We Admire was displayed at the Bach Branch Library in Albany to celebrate Women’s History Month.
