Consumer Directed Choices Collecting Essential Items for Veterans in Need

WHAT:  Consumer Directed Choices (CDChoices), a nonprofit corporation that provides payroll and administration services to people with disabilities and seniors who manage their own home care, is collecting personal care and household item donations for the Albany-based Veterans Miracle Center. The Veterans Miracle Center holds a special place in the hearts of CDChoices employees as some come from military backgrounds.

The Veterans Miracle Center says they are in dire need of laundry detergent, especially as the United States continues to see inflation costs. Additional items needed include laundry sheets, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, razors, paper towels, toilet paper, body wash and more. All donations must be new.

CDChoices is collecting donations through May 19 at 12 p.m. ahead of its May 20 delivery to the Veterans Miracle Center. More information will follow.
