Walk/Run Event for Those at the End of Life

Community Support NEEDED for the Joan Nicole Prince Home’s Walk/Run!

Schenectady Community Home, Inc. dba Joan Nicole Prince Home is hosting their annual Still Human Walk/Run event on May 7th, 2022. Local business has shown their support for the cause including… 1st National Bank of Scotia, Glenville Funeral Home, Fenimore Asset Management, Stewart’s Shops, ADK Beverage, & more! The major goal of the Still Human Walk/Run is to raise awareness about the dying person’s bill of rights & the need for individuals at the end of life to be treated as human beings, with comfort, respect, & dignity.

All proceeds from the event go directly to the Joan Nicole Prince Home, a comfort home in Scotia, NY dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and caring home for the terminally ill.

The Joan Nicole Prince Home provides a safe, comfortable, caring residence to terminally ill patients in need of a home during their final days run 100% on community donations. All fundraising efforts support the JNP Home’s ongoing end-of-life care to the terminally ill, support to their family members and friends, and provide educational programs with partner organizations, teaching future healthcare professionals compassionate end-of-life care.
