Dowling Law, PLLC is pleased to announce that Margaret D. Stephenson, Esq. has been named as Member of the Firm, effective January 1, 2022. Since joining the Firm in 2016, Maggie advises and represents employers in a variety of employment matters, including leave management; accommodations; employee relations; hiring; termination; wage and hour; compensation practices; employee handbooks; policies and procedures; health and safety; and corporate compliance.
Maggie oversees the Firm’s affirmative action practice, developing affirmative action plans for federal contractors and subcontractors, advising them on related matters, and assisting them with OFCCP audits. She also is a trained investigator and regularly conducts comprehensive workplace investigations.
Maggie is an active member of the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association, previously serving as President and Vice President and currently serving as Treasurer. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital Region Human Resource Association and on the Communications Committee for the Junior League of Albany.
