January 21, 20222022 First New York Scholarship Program Now accepting Applications
First New York Federal Credit Union will issue four $1,000 scholarships this spring. Applications for the scholarship must be submitted by May 7th, 2021. Applicants must be a member in
good standing with First New York Federal Credit Union, a graduating high school senior, plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college and play an active role in their community.

To accompany the application, students must submit a 250-word essay describing what motivates them and why, along with a letter of reference commenting on their character and abilities. A copy of the student’s high school transcript and a resume detailing honors, awards received, leadership roles and extra-curricular activities are also part of the application.
“We take great pride in helping students reach their educational, career and financial goals. We continue to do all we can to help them now and throughout their lives,” said Justin Cresswell, Vice President of Marketing and Membership Development for First New York Federal Credit Union.
Selected finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee to determine the four scholarship winners. Winners will be notified by June 11, 2021
