November 2, 2021“Astonishing” Arianna Dreher to Sing Solo at Saratoga City Music Hall
Seventeen-year-old Arianna Dreher knew she wanted to make a career of musical theater when she saw her first Broadway show, School of Rock.
“I just felt something I had never experienced before,” says the Lake George native. “I knew this is where I have to be.”
So it’s no surprise that, on Friday, November 12 and Saturday, November 13, Ariana will be at Saratoga City Music Hall participating in a fundraising event entitled All Together Now: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theater.
As part of a 12-member Home Made Theater cast of 12-19-year-olds performing 15 of the Great White Way’s most beloved musical songs and production numbers, Ariana will be singing her own solo — “Astonishing” from Little Women.
“I really do just love entertaining people,” says the Keystone Academy senior who, when she’s not rehearsing or studying, teaches dance to younger kids at Spa City Dance & The Arts on Saratoga Road in Ballston Spa. “Hopefully I can inspire someone to feel the same about performing as I always have.”
The award-winning company’s Youth Theater Conservatory is staging the production, which celebrates the return of live theater to the Capitol Region.
All Together Now will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday, November 12, and Saturday, November 13. Saratoga City Music Hall is located at 474 Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
Single tickets, plus information and subscriptions to Home Made Theater’s entire 2021-22 season are available on the company’s website, www.HomeMadeTheater.org, or by calling 518-587-4427 during regular business hours.
