NBT Bank CFO Scott Kingsley Receives Clarkson University’s “Most Prestigious Award”

NBT Bank’s Chief Financial Officer Scott A. Kingsley has been honored with the Golden Knight award by his alma mater, Clarkson University.

Usually presented each year during the Alumni Reunion, Clarkson’s most “prestigious alumni award” is given to alumni who have distinguished themselves either by service to Clarkson through Alumni Associated activities or have demonstrated outstanding career achievement, bringing distinction to themselves and to Clarkson.

A Certified Public Accountant, Kingsley earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Clarkson University. He is a community leader, volunteer and fundraiser, serving on the Crouse Health Foundation Board of Trustees, the Audit and Finance Committee for the Catholic Diocese of Syracuse and as a fundraiser for the Food Bank of Central New York. He also volunteers with OnMyTeam16, a non-profit organization supporting children in the fight against cancer. He recently completed the 2021 Boston Marathon as part of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute team. Over the past four years, he has raised more than $110,000 for the organizations he supports.

Kingsley joined NBT’s Executive Management Team in July of this year. He brings 35 years of experience to his new role, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Community Bank. Kingsley started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and was employed there for eight years before joining the Carlisle Companies, Inc., a large publicly-traded manufacturer and distributor, where he served first as Corporate Controller and then as Chief Financial Officer of its Carlisle Engineered Products operating division.
