Efrossini Kolios, MD has joined Community Care Physicians at Community Care Urology – Niskayuna on River Road. Dr. Kolios is a board-certified urologist with a particular interest in stone disease, bladder cancer, and general men’s and women’s urologic health. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and she loves caring for people in any capacity. Dr. Kolios focuses her care on the philosophy of treating patients like a member of her family. Her passion is driven by the bonds she forms with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in providing them with the best care. Her favorite activity is biking with her family at the Saratoga State Park. She spent countless hours there in her youth and feels blessed to be able to share those memories with her family.
Dr. Kolios joins James Belarmino, MD, MC, USNR in the practice of urology. “I am very glad to have Effie on my team, we worked together on several research projects during our residency at Albany Medical Center, and her experience and excellence in patient care make her a welcome addition to the practice,” said Dr. James Belarmino.
