EFNENY Gains New Board Members

The Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York is pleased to welcome two new members: John Harwick, Esq. and Yvonne “Bonnie” Lutz.
John is an Attorney/Partner with E. Stewart Jones Hacker Murphy. John’s Mom is the Founder of our organization. John looks forward to providing legal advice and helping the organization raise money. He is interested in joining the Fund Development and Communications Committees, and will also be assisting with plans for our golf tournament.

Bonnie is the Town Clerk/Tax Collector for the Town of Inlet in Hamilton County. She is also a mortgage broker with Upstate Premiere Mortgage. Bonnie looks forward to serving on the Fund Development and Communications Committees and also helping with the Walk to End Epilepsy as well as Confections in Chocolate.

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder defined as having two or more recurring seizures; it can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. One in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. Epilepsy is more common than Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease combined.
