Whiteman Osterman & Hanna Llp Announces New Associate

Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, the Capital Region’s largest law firm, is pleased to announce that Reuben Dacher-Shapiro has joined the Firm as an Associate.

Mr. Dacher-Shapiro obtained his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona and his Master of Public Administration and undergraduate degree from Binghamton University. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Dacher-Shapiro was an associate in the Capital Markets group with the law firm of Shearman & Sterling in New York City, where he focused on public company debt and equity transactions. Mr. Dacher-Shapiro is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Dacher-Shapiro will be practicing with the Firm’s Business, Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. Our Corporate practice provides advice and counsel on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, securities and private equity transactions, financings, debt restructurings and other commercial transactions. In keeping with the Firm’s tradition of providing pro bono work, Mr. Shapiro has provided extensive pro bono legal services to the University of Arizona Veterans’ Advocacy Law Clinic representing clients in the Regional Municipal Veterans Treatment Court in Tucson, Arizona and the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
