Mosaic Associates Architects, DPC has promoted architect Matthew Gaspary to associate principal and architect Steve Lovelett to associate.

A member of the firm for 19 years, Gaspary has been involved in projects for the Saratoga Springs City School District, the Cairo-Durham Central School District, and the Glens Fall City School District. He was also a member of the Mosaic team that designed the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills at Hudson Valley Community College.

A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with bachelor’s degrees in architecture and building sciences, Gaspary is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is also a graduate of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Institute.

An active community volunteer, Gaspary volunteers with the Weekend Backpack Program of the City Mission of Schenectady and participates on Mosaic’s team for CANstruction, an annual exhibit and design competition that connects architects, engineers, contractors, and students in the Capital Region to create colossal structures built completely out of canned food items to bring attention to hunger issues. He also gives his time to various youth sports organizations as a volunteer.

Lovelett has worked at Mosaic for 11 years and has been involved in several significant projects at the firm, several of which have been for the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District, including its STEAM addition, new transportation center, O’Rourke Middle School renovation, and high school auditorium. He also worked on the Center for Instruction, Technology, and Innovation for Oswego BOCES and the new Science Center for Hudson Valley Community College.

A graduate of Syracuse University’s School of Architecture, Lovelett is on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of the Association for Learning Environments, where he is currently the president elect. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and participates in the ACE Mentor Program for architecture, construction, and engineering. He, too, volunteers as a member of Mosaic’s CANstruction team. Lovelett is a member of the 2021 class of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Institute.
