Everything UR Donates $1,500 to Vanderheyden

Everything UR, a new, local start-up company and charitable foundation headquartered in Brunswick, NY, had the privilege of presenting a $1,500 donation to Karen Carpenter-Palumbo, CEO/President at Vanderheyden in Wynantskill, NY. The donation is a result of the Everything UR Foundation’s first fundraising effort; the sale of custom ‘BRAVE’ t-shirts designed by company owner, Gregory Cohane. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the ‘BRAVE’ t-shirts, including shirt costs and production expenses, were donated to Vanderheyden. Gregory Cohane, President and Founder of Everything UR stated, “Vanderheyden is an organization that has been close to our hearts since we moved to Brunswick in 2015.

We are happy to be able to support them with the funds raised by our small start-up through the sale of our ‘BRAVE’ shirts. We thank Karen and the staff at Vanderheyden for being so supportive of our first fundraising effort. We look forward to partnering with them in the future.” Vanderheyden serves over 500 residents and has 350 dedicated Team Members who work tirelessly 24/7 to provide for their individuals, adults and families in our community. Since many individuals live at Vanderheyden, the agency needed to be prepared for isolation which required the  purchase of cots, bedding, cleaning supplies and medical supplies. Due to Vanderheyden’s increased expenses to cover the COVID-19 response, they are in need of financial assistance. Vanderheyden board member, James Faranda, stated, “This is an awesome gesture and this money will go a long way in helping the childrens’ lives at Vanderheyden become a bit brighter today!”  Vanderheyden CEO/President, Karen Carpenter-Palumbo, stated “We are so grateful to Everything UR. They are a great new company supporting our community and our workforce.”
