SRI Announces Small Business Recovery Program

Strategic Response Initiatives (SRI) today announced the launch of a small business support program aimed at helping these businesses reopen safely in response to COVID-19.  SRI’s kits include strategic guidance and access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies.   This new program from SRI is supported by the ReWire Group, Upstate New York Black Chamber of Commerce, Community Loan Fund, and the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce.

As businesses begin the challenging reopening process, many feel overwhelmed by the regulations being handed down in support of public health and may not know where to turn.  SRI blends its deep expertise in disaster response and strategic operations with an unmatched inventory and procurement system, allowing for small businesses to plan and buy like a large corporation.

SRI CEO Robert Domenici said, “In times like this, we often hear the phrase, ‘we’re all in this together.’  I’ve been in some of the toughest scenarios an organization can imagine, and without strategic support and a nimble team, even the best organization can come up short.  Providing that support and agility is where SRI best supports customers.”

SRI’s Small Business Reopening Kits offer a variety of options for businesses of different sizes, and as an added bonus, proceeds of sales from larger company transactions are being applied to the Small Business Recovery Kits, by way of donated and discounted kits.  The Kit components will be sourced through access to large  PPE inventory from SRI’s suppliers and with interchangeable offerings consisting  of:

  • Gloves;
  • face masks including N95;
  • body protection and isolation gowns;
  • head coverings;
  • hand and surface sanitizers;
  • guidance on signage;
  • a reopening checklist;
  • ongoing best practices;
  • instruction on how to keep both employees and patrons safe.

In addition to SRI’s small business Reopening Kits and support packages, the company has served clients both public and private, with a number of other product offerings.  SRI is a government solutions provider, helping federal and state governments build and improve facilities and infrastructure, provided training for personnel on a variety of mission-critical activities.  For many years, SRI has supplied local, county, state, and federal government clients with their dynamic and easy to use procurement engine, G4Pro.  As the company builds for the future, new product offerings focused on emerging technology will be coming available to clients.
