Faith Baptist Church Offering Food Delivery Service to Seniors, First Responders and Shut-Ins

“Do you have families, neighbors, 1st responders or shut-ins who need food assistance and encouragement?

You are invited to be a part of this “Call to Action”, to reach out to those within your sphere of influence to share the love of Christ through the gift of a surprise care package! All care packages are required to be curbside deliveries to comply with the COVID-19 protocols.

The Faith Food Pantry is fully Covid-19 operational and ready to serve you! We are set up to take your care package orders from the comfort of your own vehicles. Your grocery order will be delivered right to your vehicle door at the church parking lot.

If your schedule does not allow you to stop by the Food Pantry on Friday mornings from 9:00am -12:00noon, you can call or text Sherry Lightner, Monday through Wednesday at (518) 428-2890 between 8:00am – 6:00pm to set up a Thursday pickup and complete a grocery order by phone.”

Here is what you will need:

Name and address for the designated care package recipient, along with all who reside in the home. Example: John Smith, 123 Glenville Road, Rexford, NY, 2 Adults, 1 infant, 2 children, 1 Senior.

Once your order is complete, a food pantry coordinator will deliver your groceries to you at your vehicle. You will then be able to deliver your care package, curbside, at your own convenience. If your own family needs food assistance, please feel free to fill out a separate order to meet the needs of your family, as well.

The Lord has given us this opportunity for such a time as this, to impact our world for Christ. Thank you for prayerfully joining us in this Call to Action! “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord ; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.”
