April 6, 2020Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library Joins the #518Rainbowhunt, Offers Live-Streaming, Virtual Story Time and More
The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library joined the local initiative to spread cheer this weekend with the installation of a rainbow throughout the Library. Synthesis Architects donated their service and designed and installed the rainbow that spans the entire length of the building, facing Moe Road. “We are pleased to be able to spread a little joy during this trying time,” says Library Director Alex Gutelius. “We are doing the best we can to continue to serve the public and let them know we are all in this together.”
In an effort to continue to serve the public, the Library is offering multiple virtual services to patrons:
- On Sunday, April 19 at 2 pm the Library will feature a live-streaming concert with Randy Calistri-Yeh, originally scheduled to perform at the Library
- Story Times will be featured on the Library’s YouTube channel every Monday and Wednesday
- Book reviews by staff librarians will be posted on social media every Tuesday and Thursday
- Tech Help tutorials will be posted on the YouTube channel, including how to use technology to connect with loved ones
- Readers of all ages can participate in the Library’s Spring Reading Challenge by completing a BINGO, using books and at-home activities completed through the month of April
These features, as well as our digital resources, can all be accessed through our website: www.cphlibrary.org. Patrons are encouraged to follow us on social media for up-to-date information about the Library and the services we are currently offering.
