Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library Service Updates

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library will be closed until further notice. While the Library is closed, we will make every effort to continue to provide the best possible service to our patrons.

 Updates to service:

  • The Library book drops will remain closed. Patrons are asked to hold all returns and donations until we reopen. No overdue fines will be incurred during this time.
  • Patrons who need a library card can apply online for a temporary card. Once the Library reopens, patrons can pick up their physical card at the Circulation Desk.
  • Our librarians will be available to answer questions and provide assistance with our online resources Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Patrons can email cphreference@sals.edu or call 518-371-8622.
  • Our “virtual library” can be accessed anytime, anywhere! Patrons can access thousands of books, movies, magazines, and more.
  • Our research databases include access to newspapers, homework resources, genealogy databases, and much more!
  • Book reviews and recommendations from our staff will be posted on social media every Tuesday and Thursday. All of these books are available for download through our digital resources.

All of our resources and updated information can be found on our website: www.cphlibrary.com. We encourage patrons to follow us on social media for updates and resources for the whole family to enjoy during this challenging time.
