CM School of Fine Arts Offers Full Scholarship for 2020 School Year

CM School of Fine Arts is offering a Full Scholarship for the 2020 school year, good towards any area of study, (Music, Dance, Art, or Theater), available to students in grades K – 12. Applicants must live in the greater capital region of New York. CM School of Fine Arts is inviting students to write a short essay of 500 words or less to express the following:

What music, dance, art, or acting/theater means to them and Why they want to take lessons

The winner will be awarded a full scholarship, March – August 2020, for one of the following programs:

  • Music Lessons (½ hour weekly private lessons or any group Music class available)
  • Dance Lessons (45 minute – 1 hour group class time per week)
  • Art Classes (45 minute – 90 minute group class time per week)
  • Theater Lessons (45 minute – 1 hour group class time per week)

This scholarship opportunity is open to all students whether or not they are taking classes at CM School of Fine Arts. Deadline for entry is February 22nd, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Essays may be submitted either electronically to CMSchoolOfFineArts@gmail.com or dropped off in person at our Clifton Park school, located at 17 Executive Park Drive, Clifton Park 12065. You must include a cover page with students name, parent or legal guardian’s name, grade level in school, name of school they attend, and contact information including home address and phone number. All addressed information must be provided to win the contest. All information provided will be kept confidential. The winner will be publicly awarded at our Open House on Saturday, February 29th at 4:00 PM. Applicant must be present to accept the award.
