T.M. Byxbee CPAs Celebrates 100 Years in Business

The Chamber, local elected officials, clients, family and friends were all on hand to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of T.M. Byxbee. The celebratory cake cutting was held on Friday, November 1st.

In 1919, Theodore Michael Byxbee set out to develop a professional firm that would assist businesses and individuals in navigating the relatively new rules for complying with government regulations for tax reporting and compliance. His remarkable vision of innovation, professionalism and a highly competent team has been the foundation of the firm for 100 years. This vision and dedication to their clients has endured and evolved to the firm they are today, serving the entire Capital Region as a respected member of the community.

T.M. Byxbee is proud to celebrate 100 years of professional service to their clients, and recognize this extraordinary individual with the launch of their new logo. “Our reputation is built on strong client relationships and our commitment to honesty, integrity, and fairness. Our commitment to the community at large is evidenced by our support of many local charities and organizations through volunteerism and financially, as well as provision of professional services”, said Tom Gessick, CPA and President.

The regulatory and financial environment has changed enormously in the 100 years of their business’s existence. Tax and financial reporting are extremely complex and their expertise and business technologies have kept pace with those changes. The essential core of their business – the strong relationship with their clients – is the same.
