Bill Davies of Davies Office Receives National Award

Bill Davies, founder and vice president of Davies Office, received the prestigious 2019 Remanufacturing ACE Award from the Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) during its World Remanufacturing Conference in Rochester, New York on October 9.

This distinguished award recognizes Davies’ outstanding contributions to the remanufacturing industry in educating others on the benefits of remanufacturing and sustainability. Bill is a nationally recognized leader in green manufacturing and expert in sustainable office furniture solutions.

These awards were given in three categories, based on RIC’s mission to “Advocate, Collaborate, and Educate” on behalf of the remanufacturing industry.

In addition to the award, Davies received a scholarship in his honor to be given to a student in the Capital Region of NY, encouraging a future industry leader to engage with the remanufacturing industry before graduation.

“This ACE Award represents a lifetime of work that I’m truly passionate about: Educating the public on the benefits of the remanufacturing process and its products,” Davies says. “I’m honored that what we do at Davies Office is being recognized for its impact on the industry and the planet.”

“I can’t think of anyone more deserving than Bill Davies for the Educate ACE Award,” says Vaughn Henson, vice chair of RIC and director of business development at SRC Holdings Corp. “Bill is a lead-by-example type of person and as a long-time proponent of reman, has selflessly helped pave the way for many companies in his industry. As RIC’s Chairman Emeritus, he has been an integral part of our growth.”
