The Tronco Financial Group and Northwestern Mutual are recognizing Siena College student (Class of ’21) Zackary Terry as the company’s #1 financial representative intern based on production, out of 3,500 contenders nationwide. Terry, a full-time management major, is being honored as an outstanding performer by building a strong financial services practice and delivering consistent quality service to clients.
“Zack is the epitome of what we look for in a Northwestern Mutual intern. He leads by example in the level of his dedication, but even more so by his character.” said Mary Kay Murphy, Chief Recruiting Officer at Northwestern Mutual -Tronco Financial Group in Latham. “You can find him at the office any hour of any day. He believes wholeheartedly that the impact he is making on peoples’ lives is worth his time and passion.”
In addition, Michael Fish, another intern with Northwestern Mutual – Tronco Financial Group, recently turned full-time financial representative, was recognized as the #5 intern in the entire company. The awards were recently announced at Northwestern Mutual’s College Awards Celebration in Milwaukee.
Northwestern Mutual’s internship program has been named one of America’s “Top 25 Internships” 23 consecutive times since 1997 according to the 2019 Vault Guide to Internships and provides real-world opportunities to full-time college and university students throughout the country. Since 1967, more than 59,000 students nationwide have participated in the company’s internship program.
