July 11, 2019YWCA NENY Announces New Interim Development Director
The YWCA Northeastern NY welcomes Kindra McHale as the Interim Development Director. Kindra studied Communications at Penn State University before moving to the Capital Region. Kindra started her work at the Capital District YMCA- Southern Saratoga Branch located in Clifton Park as the Aquatics Director. Her hard work and dedication to safety around water earned her spotlights on TV, Newspapers and the creation of the Aquatic Safety Task Force.
As she continued to grow with the organization of 12 years; her passions grew from Aquatics to operations and community development. Kindra dedicated most of her time to working with board members and community organizations/individuals as the Executive Director. Kindra served on the Southern Saratoga Chamber board and was active in the Chamber Angel’s program. After leaving the organization in 2014 Kindra worked in sales and marketing for State Farm Insurance.
We are excited to add Kindra to our staff team and looking forward to growing the YWCA-NENY donors, friends, awareness and visibility in the community.
