Angelo Mazzone Announces $1.5 Million Renovation to the Inn at Glen Sanders Mansion

The Chamber, its Ambassadors, local officials, and Angelo Mazzone, owner and president of Mazzone Hospitality, hosted a Ribbon Cutting and tours of the $1.5 million renovations of the Glen Sanders Mansion lobby, hotel rooms and suites on Wednesday, June 19. Media and supporters were invited to tour the grounds with Angelo and discuss his plans for the future of Glen Sanders Mansion becoming the areas highest quality boutique hotel.

Mazzone will also host a Grand Reopening event on June 27, 2019 to benefit JDRF. Executive Director for JDRF of Northeastern New York, Ray Kimmelblatt, states “we are so happy to share this fabulous occasion with Angelo and his team at Glen Sanders Mansion. They have been such wonderful supporters of JDRF, and we are honored they chose us to be a part of their big day.”

Angelo Mazzone purchased the historic Glen Sanders Mansion in 1988, after an extensive search to realize his dream of opening a waterfront wedding venue. He then added 12,000 square feet to the original house, including a restaurant and two ballrooms. With a desire to better serve the business community, a 22-room Inn was added in 1995. This completed the property as one of the most unique in the area. According to Angelo, “I want to make sure Glen Sanders Mansion continues to be the best place in the area to stay and host your next event, and with these renovations and the hours of training put in with our staff, we are sure to be just that.”

Tickets for the June 27 event are $50/person ($60/person at the door) with 100% of ticket price to benefit JDRF and will include cocktail style food selections as well as a cash bar. Tickets can be purchased at https://glensanders.eventbrite.com or call (518) 393-6365. RSVP’s are requested by June 21.
