April 9, 2019Infinity Med Solutions Welcomes Training Supervisor
Infinity Med Solutions recently welcomed Jack Bevilacqua as training supervisor.
Bevilacqua is a lifetime resident of Colonie, who retired last January after serving as Assistant Chief for Colonie EMS for 30 years. His extensive background in community, compliance and fire department training enables Infinity Med Solutions to meet the growing demand for training classes.
Bevilacqua’s duties include coordinating CPR training and expanding the existing training menu to include more offerings such as advanced cardiac life support training to clients. He will oversee a team of seven instructors.
“It was a natural move for me considering my background,” said Bevilacqua, who is also a firefighter at Albany International Airport. “I’m excited about the new program because there’s a lot of energy in Infinity and I will be expanding on training that I’ve been doing for 25+ years to bring it to more people. My whole life has been about teaching people to be safe and be prepared.”
Bevilacqua has been a volunteer with the American Heart Association since the mid-80s providing training, advocacy, and public education. He is on the advisory board for Capital Region Affiliate which
does fundraising for medical related grants and programs.
In addition to training services, Infinity Medical Solutions provides pre-employment physical examinations, drug and alcohol testing, and hair follicle testing for Firefighters, Police Officers, Companies, and Department of Transportation employees.
Partners Frankie Rodriguez, Gabriel Lopez, and Sean Piasecki chose Colonie not only for the location, but because it has a growing population, a need for the services, and because Rodriguez already had established contacts and ties to the community as a member of the emergency services.
The trio brings a wealth of experience to the venture that is unique for a testing facility and with Bevilacqua’s addition, continues to staff their team to provide comprehensive services to the community.
Infinity Med Solutions also employs a Medical Director, LPN, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistant, and support staff, in addition to the three partners being actively involved in day-to-day operations. As well as performing services at their medical clinic, Infinity Med Solutions works with businesses to perform on-site physicals for groups of employees.
