January 4, 2019Preferred Solutions and Collins Computer Announce Partnership
Collins Computer and Consulting Services, LLC and Preferred Solutions LLC are pleased to announce the formation of a working association of both companies designed to provide expanded services to their clients. Preferred has been providing consulting services to clients in the Capital District since 2012 including organizational counseling, financial and accounting, real estate and business planning.
Richard Usas, President stated that “Having IT technical service available is a logical growth area for us. Many of our customers experience growing pains with outdated or inadequate computing power and systems failures. This association will enable us to facilitate a much needed aspect of the small business arena that we serve.”
Preferred has been providing an array of services to Capital District business categories including custom printing, biotech, café food service, retail merchandising and site relocation. Rich Palmer, Manager, Membership Engagement with the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce said “We have referred several local small businesses to Dicks’ firm with good results. He is usually able to resolve their organizational or operating issues efficiently and at minimum expense.”
Collins Computer and Consulting LLC was formed recently in response to growing demand for IT purchases, systems upgrades and daily operational problems that most business owners haven’t the experience and/or resources to address. President Brian Collins has been providing repairs, software updates, equipment purchases and system maintenance to a wide selection of clients in the region for several years. Much of his clientele consists of small businesses and personal users and he is frequently called upon to work in residences experiencing problems with personal computers. He is able to service a wide variety of equipment and is generally able to locate replacement parts and equipment in short order and in a cost effective manner.
President Collins indicated that “We are pleased to join with Dick’s firm and to take advantage of the expanded market that it represents for both of our companies. The growth of small businesses in the Capital District offers an exciting opportunity for the services that the formation of our partnership can provide.” A new website announcing the affiliation and contact information will be available shortly; in the interim users can direct their inquiries through either rusaslt@nycap.rr.com or bcollin5@nycap.rr.com.
