September 20, 2018The Silver Shop is Now Open in the Heart of Downtown Schenectady
On Wednesday, September 19th the Chamber, along with its Ambassadors, local elected officials, family, clients and friends all helped celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Siliver Shop. The former location was on Guilderland Ave. in Rotterdam. Judy, the owner, has always wanted to bring her store front to Downtown Schenectady. When this space was presented to her she jumped at the opportunity.
The Silver Shop has a beach town feel to it and they make it a priority to get to know their customers individually. Judy wants everyone to feel welcome and know she is available to help them find just the right piece.
The shop offers affordable sterling silver and fashion jewelry as well as unique pieces. They carry brands such as Puravida, Mountain Design Adirondack Jewelry, T. Jazelle, Lita Seaglass and Shinelife. Jewelry repairs and appraisals are offered as well, not to mention the store’s seasonal Give Back Days where Judy sets aside one day to give a portion of the store’s profits to benefit and increase the public’s knowledge of the efforts of the City Mission of Schenectady. All this making The Silver Shop a one stop shop.
