The Ten Eyck Group has promoted Michael J. Wright to Vice President of Life & Group Benefits. Wright has been with the company since Wright Benefits, LLC merged with the Ten Eyck Group in 2013. He will manage the Life and Health Department and continue to assist private companies, school districts and municipalities with their employee benefits. After graduating from Springfield College with bachelor and master’s degrees, Wright worked for ten years with Schenectady County Social Services.
In 2004 he changed career paths becoming a licensed life and health agent for BlueShield of Northeastern NY and then his own agency. Along with his wife Kimberly, he also owns Brite Beginnings Early Childhood Education Center in Clifton Park. Michael is a member of The National Association of Health Underwriters, is the local HUPAC Chairman and is the Finance Committee Chairman at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Crescent. Michael and Kimberly live with their two children in Halfmoon.
