Michele Bowdy, MD has joined CapitalCare Family Practice Averill Park. Originally from Colonie, NY, Dr. Bowdy earned her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. She completed her residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Dr. Bowdy is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Bowdy chose family practice because she enjoys taking care of an entire family from newborns to the elderly, and creating and developing a relationship with that family. She has a special medical interest in prevention and wellness, nutrition and diabetes, promoting breastfeeding, and women’s health.
