TROY, NY – The Sage Colleges is proud to announce that Kathleen Kelly, Ph.D., MPH, MS, FNP, director of the Doctor of Nursing Science program, was named a finalist by the Times Union as one of Capital Region’s Nurses of the Year.
As part of its “Salute to Nurses” the Times Union received over 600 nominations. Glenda Kelman, Ph.D., chair of Sage’s Nursing program, served as a judge on this year’s panel. The Times Union paid tribute to the nurses at a luncheon on May 8 as part of National Nurses Week. Ten individuals were named Nurses of the Year. Kelly was one of the top twenty-five finalists saluted during the luncheon.
