Local elected leaders joined Albany Med leadership and physicians, community partners and representatives from Schuyler Companies for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new Albany Med EmUrgentCare facility in Glenmont.
Located at 329 Glenmont Road next to Price Chopper in the Town Squire Plaza, the walk-in clinic will treat patients of all ages seeking care for urgent and non-urgent illnesses and injuries. The facility will be open from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. every day, including holidays, beginning October 1.
The 5,254 square-foot medical office is the eighth Albany Med EmUrgentCare to open in the Capital Region and brings 13 new jobs to the area. Staffed by Albany med’s expert clinicians, Albany Med EmUrgentCare offers a full range of urgent care service, including treatment for illnesses and injuries such as sprains, strains and fractures, cuts and lacerations, cold and flu, ear and throat infections asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia and more. Occupational health evaluations, including physicals and immunizations as well as digital x-ray services are also available.
